The Shedd welcomes SYJO'17, The Shedd Youth Jazz Orchestra’s Spring 2017 concert, at The Shedd Recital Hall. This band, under the direction of jazz trumpeter, Tony Glausi, is composed of the most talented young players in the area. The concert will feature the rhythm section with selected soloists performing their favorite jazz standards and originals along with the entire big band as they present everything from classic repertoire of the 1930s to contemporary music from artists such as "Chance the Rapper".
