The Shedd Institute’s Musical Theatre Training Academy presents its 9th semi-annual revue, "OVER THE RAINBOW", a tribute to the great lyricist E. Y. "Yip" Harburg (1896-1981). Working with a number of composers, but most notably Harold Arlen, Harburg wrote such timeless classics as "Brother, Can You Spare A Dime?", "It's Only a Paper Moon", "April in Paris", "Lydia The Tattooed Lady", "Happiness Is A Thing Called Joe", "How Are Things In Glocca Mora", and all of the songs in the legendary 1939 film
The Wizard of Oz, including, of course, "Over the Rainbow"!
Two shows (at 4:30 and 7:30 pm), cabaret seating, bar open throughout each performance in the Tykeson Lobby.
