She has been given the names: The First Lady of Song, Queen of Jazz, and Lady Ella. She was known for her clarity of tone, impeccable diction, operatic vocal range, exceptional phrasing, and “horn-like” scat improvisations. Of course we are describing none other than Ella Fitzgerald. From her beginnings with the Chick Webb Orchestra and her time spent in the clubs of New York, to the unforgettable musical moments of the Jazz At the Philharmonic concerts and the beauty of her Songbook recordings; Ella always delivered nothing less than stunning performances. In this show we pay homage to one of the greatest jazz vocalists of all time with Ella classics like "It's All Right With Me", "A Tisket, A Tasket", "How High The Moon", "Night And Day", "Cheek To Cheek", and "The Very Thought Of You".
