Artist statement and teaching philosophy
Music is fun and entertaining, but to me it is so much more! Playing the violin, reading notes, and learning about all kinds of music have greatly enriched my life. Throughout my life-long study in violin, I have found tremendous enjoyment in the excitement of discovery and sense of accomplishment as I learned new things in music. My goal in teaching is to help students of all ages and abilities discover that same enjoyment and nurture their passion for music as they learn the skills to play the violin.
