Mikhail Bozylev is a goal-orientated pianist and composer from Russia with strong UK music education and great performing experience. In 2018 Mikhail graduated from Goldsmiths, University of London, completing his Bachelor of Music degree (piano and composition) with first-class honors.
In 2019 Mikhail completed Master of Keyboard degree at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
In 2020 Mikhail became an artist of the Siberian State Symphony Orchestra (Russia), which has been recognized as the Cultural Heritage of Krasnoyarsk Region. He took part in many international festivals and concerts, where he performed both as soloist and member of the orchestra.
Besides his great career in the orchestra, Mikhail gave solo concerts in many countries and cities, such as London, Glasgow, Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Sapporo and others. Mikhail is a member of the International Youth Composers Union. In 2019, there was Mikhail’s solo concert at Novosibirsk Philharmonic with the premiere of his own composed piano concerto with orchestra No.1, where Mikhail performed as a soloist. In 2021 Mikhail won an international online competition Golden Time Talent in composer-performer nomination.
At this stage, Mikhail gains his doctorate degree in music composition and theory at the University of Oregon.
Mikhail believes that everyone deserves great education regardless their age, gender, and nationality. Thus, Mikhail teaches students from 6-80 age. He considers that every student needs individual approach, according to his or her abilities and desire. Therefore, Mikhail defines the repertoire for each student separately in order to achieve better result, according to their personal wishes.
As a pianist and composer, Mikhail teaches piano, music composition, and theory. As a very experienced piano teacher, Mikhail promises that literally everyone will be able to play a little piece with two hands after the very first lesson. In addition, he believes that creation of music is much easier and entertaining that people can imagine. Therefore, Mikhail strongly encourages his students not to limit themselves in creativity.
