Background, professional training and performance history
Lynnea has been performing her entire life. Her mother likes to tell the story, “she would arrange her dolls to be her audience, and Lynnea would sing and dance for them.” Lynnea’s kindergarten teacher proclaims that, “She is the only one, who sings in the bathroom!” Can you blame her? There was probably great acoustics in there. As a young child she began performing dance shows at Senior Centers, County Fairs, and local malls in the Southern California area. She auditioned and performed in her first Musical Theater production at the age of 9, and continued throughout her youth performing locally in Eugene's Community Theater. In High School she remained involved in the preforming arts, and spent time in Japan, and Italy as a fashion model where she did runway and editorial work.
Lynnea has a degree in Musical Theater and Dance Performance from the American Musical & Dramatic Academy in Manhattan, and has been working in front of the camera or on the stage ever since. Some television/radio credits include: Just Shoot Me, CSI-Miami, Reba, Golfing Thru...Hawaii, and Jole Agnew's Entertainment Talk Radio. Film/commercial credits include: Incubus music video, Talk Shows On Mute, The Hawaii Islands, Kauai, and Dark Hear. Additional musical theater credits include Cabaret (Sally Bowels) ProArts, Tony & Tina’s Wedding (Donna) Big Apple Productions, Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey) MauiOnStage, Talking With (Marks) Revolver productions, Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum (Gemini) MauiOnStage, No More Secrets (Jenny) Maui Academy Performing Arts, Vagina Monologues (Hair) Women Helping Women, and Kit Kat Club Cabaret (lead performer) Ellen Peterson Productions.
