Ticket Discounts
All Shedd concert series qualify for group, individual package and student discounts except The Magical Moombah. Some series (Shedd Classical, Shedd Theatricals, Shedd Presents and OFAM) have special discount offers and Shedd sponsors often offer special discount coupons and promotions. Some concerts in the Now Hear This series don’t offer discounts or just limited ones. On all discount options (as detailed below or elsewhere), the maximum discount allowed on a given concert dictates.
Individual Shedd Performance Flex Packages. The Shedd offers 3 levels of “select-your-own” individual package discounts for all series except the Magical Moombah: Bronze (4-6 different concerts, 10%), Silver (7-10 different concerts, 15%) or Gold (11+ different concerts, 20%). Once you buy into one of these packages during a season (July-June of each year), you can add additional concerts to your package at the same discount level. You must purchase an initial package in order for the discount to kick in; accumulated concerts do not move you into a higher discount level. Discounts to any concert are limited to discounts available for that concert (i.e., even if you are a Gold package holder, if a concert allows only a 10% maximum discount, that is what you'll get for that concert). Group Sales Discounts. For Shedd events that offer group discounts, purchases of 6-14 tickets to a single concert or performance receive a 10% discount. Purchases 15+ tickets to a single concert receive a 15% discount. Group sales must take place prior to day-of-show and must be a single order.
Student Discounts. Students receive a discount from 25 to 50% on most, depending on the show. College students must show a current student ID.
Discount Notes. Discounts cannot be combined. || Discounts are calculated per ticket and are rounded up the the nearest 25 cents. || Student tickets are already discounted and cannot be used towards other discount options (packages, groups sales, coupons, etc.).

The new North Entrance
A NEW NORTH ENTRANCE!
We are currently in the middle of remodeling the entire north wing of our building! In March 2024 we completed the NW Quadrant. In April we began remodeling the NE Quadrant, which will result in a new North Entrance which will make it possible for everyone to get to the ticket office and music school receptionist without having to use stairs! There will also be a second elevator installed to make getting around The Shedd even easier!
In the meantime, unfortunately, entrance into the building is via a covered walkway in the alley immediately west of the building. Look for signs!
