Shirley Andress is a veteran performer of the stage, having played roles in Sweet Charity, The Sound of Music, Fiddler on the Roof, Godspell, Peter Pan, The Boy Friend, and How to Succeed In Business. She has sung in a multitude of musical revues with the Treehouse Restaurant Company and Ragozzino Productions, where her vocal talents have been showcased. She is a founding member of OFAM’s Emerald City Jazz Kings, and has regularly performed as a Guest Artist in the OFAM Summer Festival with Dick Hyman. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Education from the University of Oregon and is a loyal “Duck “ fan. She teaches private voice as well. Among her favorite opportunities to sing is with “Kindred Heart “, a contemporary Christian women’s ensemble from First Baptist Church of Eugene. She has been seen in three of OFAM’s summer musicals.... Polly in Crazy For You, Sarah in Guys and Dolls, and Eliza in My Fair Lady. She is thrilled to be playing a gawky scrub oak with a big heart and a mighty aim. Shirley is a newlywed of one year and as Annie would say, “I Got Lost in His Arms and I had to stay!! “ I love ya, honey!
