Lenanne Sylvester has been acting professionally in commercials, television and film for the past five years. Her most recent role was Billie Holiday in Lady Day at Emerson's Bar & Grill at the Actors Cabaret of Eugene. She has worked with Portland Center Stage, triangle! Productions, Verbatim Productions, and Cygnet Productions. Sylvester has taught acting and directed for the Portland Actors Conservatory's Summer On Stage Program, Holy Redeemer Area School and Portland Community College Cascade. She has also worked with the Haven Project and Artists Repertory Theatre Actors-To-Go theatre outreach programs. In addition to her acting and teaching credits, Sylvester is a professional vocalist and has been performing in the Northwest for fourteen years. Ten of those years were spent performing with her father, Norman Sylvester. She recently released a CD entitled Lenanne Sylvester: A Tribute To Lady Day and currently performs with Janice Scroggins. She received her B.A. in Theatre Arts from the University of Oregon and her M. F. A. in Theatre with an emphasis in acting from the University of Southern California. This summer will be Sylvester's 2nd appearance with OFAM.
