Terry Burrell, who is currently in Thoroughly Modern Millie on Broadway, is of West Indian/American descent. She was nominated for a Helen Hayes Award in the Best Actress category for her work in Duke Ellington's Queenie. Her regional credits include Swinging On A Star at Goodspeed Opera House, Aldonza in Man Of La Mancha, Eve in Arthur Miller's Up From Paradise, Diana Devereux in Gershwin's Of Thee I Sing, Ain't Misbehavin', and Sweet And Hot.
