RICHARD JESSUP (director/choreographer) has been dancing since 1975, has been choreographing since 1979, and has been directing since 1994. Richard has directed and/or choreographed more than 100 productions, including musicals, stage plays, and concert dance pieces. He is the Founder and Producing President for Seattle’s Against the Grain/MEN IN DANCE, which is celebrating its 23rd year in 2019. Some of his favorite titles for The Shedd Theatricals, are The King And I, Camelot, Sweet Charity and Pal Joey. One of Richard’s favorite forms of musical theatre is the Original Cabaret show, and he has co-conceived, and directed When The Sun Comes Out and Bon Soir, Barbra Streisand 1960-64 for Shirley Andress, and How Lovely To Be A Woman, a duet show for Shirley and Siri Vik.
