Doug Heydon is a multi-instrumentalist with many years in the
recording industry. He played bass in the cabaret band for Jacques
Brel is Alive and Well... at the Very Little Theater. Fall 2009, Doug was an on-stage and pit musician in Big River at UO Theatre. He plays with the Eugene Community Orchestra and small chamber ensembles. With Amey Herman, he plays traditional music on guitar and banjo. When not playing music or riding bicycles, he builds and repairs stringed instruments.
Amey Herman has played violin for over twenty years in orchestras and chamber ensembles. She has performed in pit orchestras for several musicals, including The Sound of Music, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Fiddler on the Roof, Damn Yankees, Carousel, and Cinderella. She was last seen in Big River at UO Theatre. She plays traditional music from Scotland, Ireland, Québec, Scandinavia and France with husband Doug Heydon. When not performing, Amey teaches French and guides tours to France.
