MATTHEW LEACH (ensemble, tenor) has been performing since he was five. A native of Eugene, with a background in vocal jazz, some of his more recent credits include dramatic plays such as David & Lisa, Butterflies Are Free, Mr. Roberts, A Midsummer Nights Dream, Blind Men and A Christmas To Remember. Matt has been active with The Shedd in their production of Rogers & Hart’s The Boys From Syracuse as well as this year’s Sweet Charity and Lady, Be Good. Matt has appeared in Eugene Opera’s productions of Faust, La Boheme, The Mikado, Carmen and Nixon In China. Matt has been active with the Artist Mentor Program in productions of Trouble In Tahiti, the title role in George Bizet’s Dr. Miracle and most recently as Camille de Rosillon in Franz Lehar’s The Merry Widow. He appeared in a short film entitled In The Clear.
