MATTHEW LEACH (Shorty McGee) got his start in theatre at South Eugene High School where he graduated in 1994. He has been seen in The Shedd’s productions of performed the role of The Boys From Syracuse (Corporal), Sweet Charity, Lady Be Good, Singing In The Rain, No, No, Nanette, and Camelot (Squire Dap). Matt’s appearances with Eugene Opera and its community outreach group, the Artist Mentor Program include Faust, La Boheme, The Mikado, Carmen, Nixon In China, The Impresario (Mr. Angel), The Merry Widow (Camille de Rosillon), Die Fledermaus (Dr. Blind), Trouble In Tahiti Girl Of The Golden West, a solo tenor inmate in Dead Man Walking, and the title role in Dr Miracle. Matt has also appeared on screen in various commercials & in an award winning short film In The Clear.
