Galen Schloming graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in Communication and as a member of the selective Musical Theatre Program. He was fortunate enough, through the American Music Theatre Project at Northwestern, to work with artists such as Tina Landau, Gary Griffin, Michael Greif, Craig Carnelia, and Andrew Lippa. Chicago credits include La Cage Aux Folles, Stop Kiss, and The Boys From Syracuse, as well as Shenandoah at the Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire; Los Angeles credits include performances of Rent and Parade. An Oregon native, Galen has been seen at Oregon Cabaret Theatre, Actors Theatre, and Rogue Opera in productions of Children of Eden, HMS Pinafore, Ali Baba and The Mikado, among others. This is Galen’s first project at The Shedd Institute and he’s very excited to be working with such an enthusiastic and talented company.
