CYRA CONFORTH (Marian Paroo) is an actress from Cottage Grove, Oregon, and has been performing since she was 9 years old. She recently returned from working at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, and is thrilled to be back in Oregon and performing with Shedd Theatricals. She is trained as a classical vocalist, and studied ballet, tap, jazz, and musical theatre dance at SLDA. She has been seen previously at The Shedd in Damn Yankees, White Christmas, The Wizard of Oz, Guys & Dolls, Singing in the Rain, Good News, Gypsy, Oliver, and On The Town. Cyra’s first role ever with The Shedd was a River City Kid in The Music Man, in 2013. As a “small town girl” and an avid reader herself, she considers it a privilege to bring Marian to life in this production
