JAMIE PARKER (costume designer) is owner of Costume Couture, a local costume rental company; and Wardrobe Supervisor for the Eugene Ballet Academy and Eugene Youth Ballet. She is very excited to return for her sixth season with Shedd Theatricals. Her favorite design work with The Shedd includes: Mary Poppins, How to Succeed in Business Without Trying, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Camelot, The Music Man, Singing in the Rain, and The King and I. She has also designed costumes for Lakewood Center for the Arts where she won the 2015 OTAS award for Best Costume Design for Mame. She also enjoys sharing her passion for costuming with Springfield, and Thurston High Schools and with Motion Sensors Dance in Healy Alaska. Her recent work with these groups include: 13, The Pirates of Penzance, Alice in Wonderland, The Wizard of Oz, Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None, and The Taming of the Shrew.
