Alex was born and raised in Beaverton, Oregon, and moved to Eugene to attend his sister’s alma mater, the University of Oregon. There, he graduated with a degree in General Business and a minor in Computer Science. During his time at the university, he spent 4 years in the marching band, 3 years in the scholarship athletic band, and became a brother of the only multi-cultural fraternity on campus, Sigma Lambda Beta. In 2018, he was fortunate to play trombone with the Oregon Jazz Ensemble on a summer tour in Europe where he played in 5 different countries in 2 weeks!
