For our first festival matinee concert, Ken puts the spotlight on trumpet great Byron Stripling for a look at Louis Armstrong's transition from jazz sensation to world-famous entertainer. With help on vocals from Clairdee and Ian Whitcomb, they'll present many songs that Mr. Armstrong either introduced, or helped popularize, including “Swing That Music”, “Blues In The Night”, “Rockin’ Chair”, “Dinah”, “I’m Confessin’” and more!
