It is hard to describe Deborah Henson-Conant. Music…Theatre…Comedy… She’s a Blues-Classical-Flamenco-Celtic-Funk-Folk-Jazz dynamo that truly loves the harp, classical concert and, well, otherwise. She tells tall tales with the ease of a stand-up comic. She plays the classic concert pedal harp divinely and her electric blue lever harp like nothing you’ve ever seen. We didn’t quite know what to expect when we brought her to the Jaqua Concert Hall in 2008...and what we got was nothing short of amazing. She returned a second time, and she blew us away again. We figured we had to bring her back again!
As a special treat, Deborah will be joined by local music legend Mason Williams who will join her on-stage on a couple of numbers, including a first-ever electric lever harp and guitar version of, what else? "Classical Gas"!
