This evening is dedicated to songs from 1930s to early '40s Hollywood that have withstood the test of the intervening 70 years and have an established place in the standard repertoire of jazz and popular artists today. Look for songs by Harry Warren, Johnny Mercer, Harold Arlen, Yip Harburg, Jimmy Van Heussen, Charlie Chaplin, Johnny Burke, and other exceptional but less-well-known songwriters of the 1930s and '40s who were nonetheless responsible for gold standards like "I Only Have Eyes For You", "Smile", "Blue Moon", "There Will Never Be Another You", "Hooray For Hollywood", "Over The Rainbow", and "Time After Time". The evening features vocalists Siri Vik and Clairdee.
