Marin Alsop invites the incomparable Dick Hyman and her father LaMar Alsop to help the Festival Orchestra explore the history and nature of composing and playing music for film & radio. Audiences will be transported from the silent movie halls of the 1910s to the radio sets of the 1950s and will be treated along the way to a wonderful variety of musical savories and intrigues, including the WORLD PREMIER of Dick Hyman’s Tune & Transformation!
