Chamber Music Amici welcomes trumpet and piano virtuoso, Guy Few, back to Eugene. For this evening's program Guy is featured on trumpet on Mathieu Lussier's Impressions de l'Alameda, Op. 25, and on piano for Franz Schubert's Piano Quintet in A Major, D. 667 (“The Trout”). Guy will be joined on the Lussier by Jessica Lambert and Sharon Schuman (violins), Lillie Manis (viola), Steven Pologe (cello), and Tyler Abbot (bass). On the Schubert he will be joined by Jessica Lambert (violin), Lillie Manis (viola), Steven Pologe (cello) and Tyler Abbott (bass).
Please join us in The Shedd Institute’s Warren Court for dinner before the concert to celebrate Amici’s 10th Anniversary. Guest musician Guy Few, with special guests Peter van de Graaff (Guest Speaker), Sid Voorhees (Auctioneer Extraordinaire), Fred Crafts (Master of Ceremonies) will help Chamber Music Amici celebrate this occasion, creating an evening to remember. Dinner is $50 per person.
